Biscuits and pocket screws make this project a quick, straightforward build. Joinery doesn’t come much easier than what we chose for this side table.

The main skill required in building it is cutting parts to size accurately. Then it’s a matter of gluing and screwing everything together. Biscuits keep the parts aligned, and screws strengthen the connections. This results in a solid table with few visible clues as to how you put it together.
